This is my very first fanfiction. I started writing this around September 2000 and finished it just before I graduated high school in May 2001. The story has a prologue, 10 chapters, and an epilogue. It used to be on my old site, also called "The Forest of the Otaku," until that site's server stopped being a server. It has taken me three months to gain the willpower to restart this site and I'll be damned if Tripod starts to shut down. Then I'll know that homepages and I just don't mix...

The story is based around the character of Minako, aka Sailor Venus, who is my all-time favorite Senshi. It is set after the defeat of Mistress Nine and has the girls advance in years. I veer off in a totally different direction than the manga or anime. The story is about maturing and learning to forgive. But most of all, it's a love story.

I always wondered why the Senshi were destined to be alone in life, their only love being the duty they had to their princess. Then one day I stumbled upon a site called "General's Love." The site focuses around the vague hint that at one point the Senshi and Generals had been involved with each other romantically. I read some of the stories and became hooked on the idea. So I wrote my own fic. And this is the finished product. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
